We operate 24 hour emergency care for our clients within our visit zones.
Our main reception is open from 8.00am until 6.00pm Mon – Fri and 8.00am – 12.00pm on Saturday mornings.
Should you phone us outside of these hours you will hear a message giving you the direct mobile number of the senior vet on duty for that night or weekend.
For emergencies during office hours our reception staff will dispatch or redirect a vet from our team to you as soon as they are able to contact the vet who is closest to you. The most common types of emergencies are accidents, wounds, colic and choke. Please note that it is helpful to be able to provide a location and phone number should your details at the time differ from those on our system. This will enable the vet to find you quickly and we can also put you in touch with the vet who is on their way to you should you need immediate advice on the situation.
Outside of office hours we have two vets on duty at all times. The mobile number provided on our out of hours answer message will be for the senior vet on duty. It will then be decided depending on your location which vet will attend or whether to meet you and your horse at the clinic depending on the problem.
