Charlie McCartan popped in from his sabbatical to open the evening and introduce our new vets. Clients were treated to many informative talks, with the first from Boehringer Ingelheim UK representative, Richard Shuttleworth, who spoke about the benefits of their product Equitop Myoplast, which is available from the Clinic.
Sara Jones-Richards (BVET MED (Hons) MRCVS) gave a brilliant presentation on Mud Fever causes, symptoms and how to prevent it. Stud vet Andrea Emerson (BVSC, MRCVS) taught us about placentitis and the dangers it presents in reproduction. Stephanie Fitzgerald (MVB, MRCVS) informed us about the danger of Sycamore Poisoning or Atypical Myopathy and how we can prevent this potentially fatal disease, and Lydia Doster (MA, VetMB, MRCVS) told clients all about our new MRI unit and its benefits for lameness investigations.
A huge thank you to all of the Bourton Vale team for organising the evening, the team at Cotswold Baguettes for the fantastic food and drink and Richard and Boehringer for sponsoring the event. Another big thank you to the 100 or so clients who attended the evening; we hope that everyone enjoyed the evening and if you have any feedback, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Bourton Vale hosted a client evening at the Adlestrop Village Hall on Wednesday 1st Novewmber. The evening was kindly sponsored by Boehringer Ingleheim and was a huge success; allowing attendees to meet the new members of our team and have an introduction to a variety of topics.
